Presenting Prince Alan and Princess Natalie

Boy, Natalie and Alan sure have a good time together, I crowned them Prince Alan and Princess Natalie. Cute eh? They love to play and hang out, Natalie was tired so she gets a little overdramatic when she gets hurt, and by the way, her finger is fine today! She showed me when she woke us up this morning.

The weather is beautiful today, so get out and dance around.

Disney Dance Camp for Natalie

I got Natalie signed up for Disney Dance Camp with Tiffany's Dance Academy this summer.
Disney Theme Summer Dance Camp - a week long day camp designed for children ages 3-6. Each day has a different theme; such as Princess Tea Party and Animal Kingdom and dancers have lessons in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Dancers come to the studio for two hours per day Monday thru Friday. Snack and craft are supplied daily. Parents are invited on the last day for a mini-concert. Each class is limited to 20 dancers and is on a first come, first served basis.

Happy Birthday Charlie and Talula!!

Happy Birthday dear Charlie and Talula, Happy Birthday to you. My kitties are now 1-year old. Natalie and I went shopping last night and got the cats collars, a scrathing thing for the doorknob and a new blankie for them to sleep on. The collars lasted all of 2 hours. They hated then and I found Talula's on the ground, and it wasn't on loose enough for her to get it off. It has a safety latch, so I guess she pulled it off. So, I took those off. They have been getting whatever they want today too, a lil extra food and love. Too fun! I can't believe they are 1 - time goes by so fast!

Yummmerooo!

My fav cake flavor is rainbow chip. I was at the store today and saw this ice cream and whoohoo is it good! It tastes like yellow cake with sprinkles. If you love eating the yellow cake mix before it is cooked, you will love this ice cream. And the sprinkles are the frosting. 1/2 the fat too!

Ready for Swim Lessons

Well, she is officially ready for swim lessons. Tony says that the kids are better off in a lil' wetsuit instead of a swimsuit because it gets cold in the water. How cute is she? After I took her picture, she decided to take some of us. She does a good job framing these pics too cool! It looks like we may be going to Santa Cruz this weekend, I am excited about that. The water beckons me every few months. I'll definately post pics of that!

Tony and Natalie, I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family!

Me and Talula. She just loves me can't you tell?

My Little Princess

Natalie likes to dress up in her princess outfits. This is a cute picture I took a while ago, but wanted to share.

This time thing sure is strange. It always take a few days to get used to, the good thing is that I will be able to leave work and still see some daylight. All is good!!

Think!

"The times in our lives in which we feel that we have the
least power are actually the times when we have the most.
Those are the times in which we affirm or redefine who we
are, what we believe, and make choices that can impact
ourselves and those we encounter for a lifetime."

Remember These?

My mom and I went to the Gilroy Outlets and in the Sanrio store I found this gem. I had this exact calculator and watch when I was a kid. I don't even want to take it out of the packaging because I am so excited about seeing this stuff again! Oh, and the Sanrio store has everything 50% off of the Sanrio price, so that is great too! *ahh the good old days*

This is another one of Natalie's silly photos she took of herself this morning. Gee, it sure is nice to have a weekend to hang out with the family!

Valentines...done...whew!

We worked on Natalie's Valentines today and we are DONE! She has a party at school Tuesday and this has been such a busy few weeks for me that I know I won't have time tomorrow to do 'em, so we did them tonight. She has Spongebob cards to hand out but we made these cute lil treats for the kids. Like 'em? I started them a few weeks ago, getting the fry holders done, then bought the candy today and put it all together. I am happy with the way they came out! Love this stuff, I can't wait for elementary school!

Natalie {rock star}

Tony got Natalie and I Guitar Hero for Valentines..and we are having a ball!! While Tony or I play, Natalie gets out her guitar and mic and plays along with us, it is too cool. She really gets into it!!! You gotta try it.

Busy Day, Busy Week!

What would I do without my coffee? There is something about the smell of fresh coffee brewing in the morning. It means that the day has officially started. Busy week this week, tight deadlines and I have to get Natalie's Valentines done this weekend. I'll post a photo when we are done. They are going to be cute.

So, Ali asks....Do you have a personal creative manifesto? in her last newsletter. I think I am going to work on this one. She gives us lots of homework all the time, but I think that it helps people grow creatively, so I may try this out.
About a week back I sent her a link to the Crafter Manifesto, and I'd like to think that I helped inspire this weeks newsletter, but no mention of me, so who knows. I will see her Feb 24th...maybe I'll ask.

My New Drink

Well....I have been trying out new low-fat/calorie options at Starbucks, and have finally found my drink. It is a Cinnamon Dolce Latte with 2% milk and sugar free syrup (3pts). I picked this up yesterday and it was delicious. I just don't like the drinks with non-fat milk, it leaves a strange aftertaste. Do you agree?
And of course, Natalie got her "kids hot chocolate." She absolutely loves that stuff. It is the perfect temp and she and drink it as soon as she gets it. WHoohoo!! I guess I have already started branding for Natalie. When she thinks of hot chocolate, she will think of Starbucks. :)

Old Friends are the Best Kind of Friends

Jennifer was home and when she comes home, she brings everyone together. It is really a great feeling to connect with friends from first grade (Anne) and high school. We talked about who is where and who is doing what. Reminiscing was something I did a lot of on Friday. It makes me happy and feel lucky about my upbringing and my blessed life I live. None of us turned out bad or turned into criminals (well, maybe some run from the cops now and then) but overall we were, and are, a great group of kids, now adults. Our 15 year high school reunion is this year too, so we talked about what and where we want to have it. Jennifer may be coming back in the summertime, for the reunion!

It was also great to see Pete, BJ and Steve. The dudes!

Well, again today, I feel lucky for what I have done and where I have been and proud of those who have also succeeded and gone on to become loving and cherished adults.

Sick Today

I am home sick today. Natalie gets sick and gets Tony and I sick. Yucko!
Weighed in today at WW, down 5.8 lbs. WHOHHOO! Totally excited about that. It motivates me to keep going when I loose that much. So that helped me feel a bit better today.

Donna and ME!!

Too cool! It is Donna and Me! I am such a big fan of that lady, she is even better in person. You almost think that you know someone because you read their blog every day, but when you meet that person, you kinda expect them to be what you imagined in your mind. Well, it is always different. Next month, Ali. WHOOO~
She signed my book, her book, well my book, you get it right?

Here is Donna talking about the 'penis' drill. She was too funny explaining how to use it.

Class Tonight

So excited, tonight I have a class with Donna Downey, one of my fav scrapbookers ever! I am getting all packed up and ready to go. Of course I have to go to Michaels before I go tonight, but totally excited about it.
I'll post photos when I can!!!
My goal is to get one with Donna and me!!!

Petco

Whenever we go out, Natalie likes to go to PetSmart or Petco. It is the closest we get to the zoo this time of year. We walked by this tarantula and he was so creepy, I wanted her to take a picture next to it...this was the closest she would get. :)

It is almost like he posed for me, ya? He would move after the flash went off, hope I didn't blind the spider. Gross he is really gross and furry!
